Tweetur and Google Phone

Um…

Hi.

Hello everyone. It’s been quite sometime, hasn’t it? For the past month and half, I’ve been busy by school work, programming and Twitter. School is okay, meaning I’m learning but I wish it were more fun.

Programming, on the other hand, is wacky. I actually started to learn C++ (which, by the way, is a great insight to how some of the Windows programs are written). It was pretty great until I got to designing an actual GUI. For some strange reason, Microsoft really does not have any documentation of programming a GUI in Visual C++. So, basically I was building a program that wouldn’t do anything except try and look pretty. Then one of my dad’s friends in New Jersey, who happens to be a computer engineering professor, introduced me to Java. I always knee Java existed, but I never tried it out. It’s a great language and I’m trying to master it before work on Tweetur even begins. By the way, I’ve already worked out some sort of anti-piracy system and a price. Don’t worry, it’ll be cheaper than five dollars

Now, I’m going to bring your attention to the Google Phone (see attached images, courtesy of engadget

To tell you the truth, the Google Phone, nicknamed Nexus One, looks like a fine competitor to the iPhone. Do you guys think so? Comment your choice below?

TwCLI

So. This is not a drill. Navarr did not pay me a cent to advertise. All of you have to check out TwCLI. It’s a fairly new Twitter application written by a member of our community. It’s fairly simple and easy to learn. Enough of my talking. Go try it out and if you like it, CONTINUE to use it. I want to see “posted from TwCLI” everywhere.

You’re not cool if you don’t use TwCLI. All the cool kids use it.

In other news, I’m learning C++, so I can start learning Qt. I want to program some Windows programs!

Bonjour! Guten tag!

Hey guys! How are you all doing? Yeah, I know I haven’t been posting much of anything on this here blog, but I haven’t forgotten it. Even though it has been almost two weeks since I last updated?

Why does this blog post fall under the Tech category? Because of blackra1n, the latest in programs that will assist you in jailbreaking your iPhone/iPod touch. Created by geohot, the genius behind the unlocking of the iPhone and purplera1n, this programs jailbreaks ALL devices, including the new iPod touches (the ones released on Sept. 9, 2009.) The only caveat is that the new iPod touch jailbreak is a tethered jailbreak, meaning that in order to boot the iPod, aka turn in on, you have to hook it up to the computer and run blackra1n. Not a hard thing to do. If you have an iPhone or iPod touch and always wanted to jailbreak without the hassle, blackra1n is the program for you.

School
Must I really talk about school? It’s the same everytime: PE sucks, history is fun, French II is boring, trig is all right, English is weird, and chemistry is okay. There you go.

HAI GUYS

Hello guys. How are you all doing? School has been really stressful, so I haven’t been really doing anything. I was bored, so I decided to write up a blog post.

I’m gonna spend a few sentences talking about my school life. PE is weird this year. Instead of doing killer things, it’s almost fun. AP European History is really fun. History itself is boring, but my teacher knows how to make it fun and exciting. I’m having a test on Tuesday. French 2 us just plain boring. My teacher has been gone for more than a week, and we’ve been watching The Phantom of the Opera. Worst movie ever. Every ten seconds they are singing a song. Trigonometry/PreCalculus is all right. I had a test yesterday. English is strange, so I won’t delve into that. Chemistry has been just notes. We have a test this Tuesday as well.

That’s pretty much it. I’m actually working on a new site, so stay tuned for that.

Minor stuff

Minor changes: now comments do not need to be approved before being posted. To tell you the truth, I didn’t know Ryan and SpaceMan had posted a comment until I happened to log in to the control panel. I’ve also downloaded the WordPress app for the iPod touch and I’m using it now to type this. Mabye I’ll post more often. When was the last time I posted? September 15th.

Bleep boop bop.

Hiya guys. How are all you guys doing? I was chatting with Calvin on MSN (if you guys want to chat: dragonsprout@hotmail.com) and I remember that I own a blog! I’ve decided to update.

Well, I ordered my 32 GB iPod Touch last Friday for 300 dollars. I was checking it out on Amazon yesterday and they lowered the price by 20 dollars! So, after calling them, they finally returned our $20. But it still hasn’t been shipped from Amazon yet. This sucks. Hard.

School has been a real bore. The only class I really enjoy is AP European History, which surprises me since I despise any type of history class but U.S. History. Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus and Chemistry are all right, I suppose. Like I said, they are really boring. English is pretty boring, too, but I have not slept in that class because my teacher is kinda psycho. She talks and talks about all sorts of random things and somehow we learn. French is just plain boring and we haven’t done anything in that class. I’ve got a few quizzes tomorrow: a PreCal and two English quizzes (one on Lord of the Flies and another on some Poetry Terms list.)

That’s basically been my life the past week or so. I am still kinda bored and wish it were night all ready so I could sleep. And I just found out the my host (Ben) just got into a car accident and broke his wrist. Poor Ben. I hope you feel better.

Finally got this running!

So, this is Wordpress, huh?

Well, I finally got Wordpress to work for me after a couple of mishaps with the set up. Got this theme working as well. So…

If you’ve been following my Twitter, you would know that I am planning to buy a 32GB iPod Touch with a case for around $312. I’m gonna try to get it as early as possible so I can enjoy it. That’s all for now.

I’ll add the pages later. I’m too lazy to write anything right now.
